Root Canal

People who need a root canal or endodontic treatment have an infection in the soft dental pulp within the hard layers of their teeth. The space between these hard layers is called the root canal system. During endodontic treatment, we’ll remove the infected or dead pulp and clean the root canals, then fill them to prevent any more infection.

This can infect the pulp of your tooth, causing a lot of pain and discomfort, which is challenging to live with. The pulp is removed and the hollow root canal is sterilised, then filled and finally sealed, providing lasting comfort. A fully grown tooth does not require the pulp, so the procedure will not affect the tooth’s functionality or appearance.
